ON-GLAZE FIRING IN THE KILNS

English

ONCE THE PIECES ARE DECORATED ACCORDING TO THEIR PURPOSE, THEY ARE FIRED IN ONE OF OUR KILNS. THE PORCELAIN PIECE IS STACKED TOGETHER WITH OTHERS ONTO SPECIAL CARRIERS AND PUT INTO THE KILN. THIS SO-CALLED ON-GLAZE FIRING HAPPENS AT TEMPERATURES BETWEEN 760 AND 900 DEGREES DEPENDING ON THE ITEMS, THE STEP OF PRODUCTION AND ALSO BASED ON EXPERIENCE. AFTER EACH PRODUCTION STEP, THE PORCELAIN PIECE HAS TO UNDERGO A SPECIAL FIRING UNTIL IT IS FINISHED.
